Twinsetters Vol.1 Chp-1: Unknown Encounters
"Jose, why are you doing this to me?!"
"Why wont you just talk to me?"
"JOSE!!!"
Ana. Listen, I'm sorry things have to end on this note but you know football is my life! When does a opportunity like this come around?"
"Jose what are you saying?!"
"I can't... I can't be with you anymore..."
"We have to break up."
"You're joking right?"

"Jose , Please don't . . ."
"I'm sorry Mariana."
"Jose please!!"
"JOSE !!!"
"ANA! Are you okay?! Ana wake up!"
That was the sound of a voice calling to me. Calling to me from what sounded like a distance. I slowly opened my eyes and there she was, right in front of me. I gasped so loud, "what happened? What time is it?!" I asked
"It's 6:15 so get up and get ready. We leave in 30."
with that being said, she walked out my room and into hers. I could tell today was going to be a long one. I wanted to be comfortable as possible. I grabbed my things and went to take my shower.
(15 minutes later)
*Loud Knocking*
"Ana? Are you done getting ready I need to grab something."
"You can come in"
she walked into the bathroom and her jaw dropped, "You look amazing! I love the hair!"
"I love yours too! That fit is totally you!" I said.
"I know it is isn't it?" she said winking at me "You ready to head out??"
That question quickly ran a breeze up my spine. Caused the hairs on my body to stand up. All those thoughts and insecurities came back to mind but I cant change whats about to happen.
"Yes I'm ready let's go."
Me and my sister got into our car and drove to school. I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous. My palms were sweaty, my stomach ached. I wish none of this happened. I always had problems with meeting new people, I'm too shy to even speak sometimes...
Eventually we arrived at the school.
"Marisa. . ." I said nervously.
"It's okay Ana, come on."
We walked into the office, while Marisa asked the man at the front desk for directions to our classroom I looked around. This office looked nothing like the one back at our old school.
"First door down the hall!" the lady told us, "Enjoy your first day here ladies."
"Thank you!" we both said with a smile.
We walked down the hall and stopped right in front of the door. Marisa stopped me in my tracks. "Whatever happens, i'm right behind you. Today's going to be fine I promise."
"Thank you Marisa, but I think I'll be alright." I said as i walked into the classroom. Marisa followed right behind me. Everyone was chatting with each other to even notice someone came through the doors.
"You must be Mariana and Marisa! I'm Ms. Hays It's great to have you in our class!" The teacher said.
"Glad you could have us!" I said smiling.
"Great! let me show you where you'll be sitting!"
(Marisa's POV)
Me and my sister sat on opposite sides of the room which sucks. She sits on the left side while I'm on the right side...
I walked to the back of my seat, there were about like two guys in front of me talking. I cant really tell which one of them sat in front of me because they both were standing up talking !
The teacher stood in the front of the classroom, "Okay everyone please take your seats." she said.
Everyone got in their assigned seats as the teacher continued to speak, "we'll be having two new students joining us this year. Mariana and Marisa. Glad to have you! Please take out yesterdays assignment and notes."
The guy in front of me finally turned around and looked at me. I looked up at him as he said with a smirk. "I'm Gabriel, It's nice to meet you."
I tried so hard to keep my composure but I could feel my face turning redder than a pepper! He was so cute i cant even describe it well
I looked into his eyes and gave him a smile, "It's very nice to meet you too, I'm Marisa."
He gave me this look with a smirk and turned back around in his seat.
"Ms. Hays stood in the front of the classroom grabbing some papers, "Miki?" she called out
The girl next to me looked up and responded, "Yes, Ms. Hays?"
"Can you please take Mariana and Marisa to the library and help them with the notes. They're going to need them." she asked Miki.
Miki had an accent, an British one at that! she looked over at me then at Mariana and smiled at us. "Yea of course, follow me!" she said as we grabbed our things and walked to the library.
Once we got to the library me and my sister looked around. Miki put all of our things on the table and walked away to a bookcase. "I'll be right back. she said."
I pulled my sister to the side. I couldn't really tell what was going on with her seeing that we were on opposite sides of the room. "How are you holding up? I asked.
"I'm actually fine. Not really thinking about the past which is oddly shocking, are you alright?" she asked me.
Even tho I could see the look on my sisters face, I still wasn't sure if she was being honest with me. I looked at her and gave her a smile, "Yes I'm fine, I'm just trying to make sure you are."
Mariana has a history of depression. She'd always lie to everyone portraying that she was alright. Me being her twin I know when somethings wrong. Is it bad I'm not so sure this time?
Miki finally came back with the books and smiled at us.
"Okay, soo which one is which?" she asked sorta excited.
Mariana smiled at her and said, "That's Marisa and I'm Mariana"
As the day passed by 25 minutes we researched our information through the text books and wrote them down in our notes as miki helped us. It would get so quiet from time to time, but Miki of course would always break it. Not that I'm complaining or anything..
This guy from home room came into the library and Miki smiled so big at him you could practically see every last tooth in her mouth. "You almost done here? Lunch is in like 3 minutes? Tik-Toc Mi-Mi" he said to her
Miki looked over at the clock , "Oh jeez! I didn't realize how fast the time had gone," she said "by the way, Mariana; Maris this is my boyfriend Xavier."
"Nice to meet you guys!" he said walking over to us and shaking our hands
"How's your first day going for the two of you?" Xavier asked
Mariana closed her notes and smiled, "It's actually not so bad."
"I'm glad that it's going great for the two of you!" Miki said smiling. "Come on we can finish this up another time. We'll show you to the cafeteria."
Mariana went and found her and I a table while I went to the line to figure out what to buy for myself and also for her.
I couldn't really choose there were so many things on the list, I flt like I was taking too long but luckily there was nobody waiting behind me.
Well that didn't last very long. sure enough I felt someone behind me. I was too afraid to turn around...
"Why not try the Jumbo shrimp with steak? It's always been my favorite"
I turned around to make sure the person behind was talking to me and sure enough he was.
It was Gabriel!
"Oh! Gabriel, Hi" I said kinda giggly
"Hey there!" He said with a smirk. "Can't decide what to eat? been there done that" he said and laughed.
his laugh was the cutest thing, his laugh made me laugh just hearing it.
"So I'm assuming you chose the shrimp and steak for your first choice?"
"Of course I did!" he said with a chuckle. "I think you should try it."
"I might have to take you up on that offer but what about Mariana? she hates shrimp.." I said
Gabriel just stood there thinking for a minute, "well what does she eat?" he asked.
Before I could answer someone else came up behind us. "what's going on? Is everything alright?" he asked as Gabriel and I turned around."
"Yeah I'm trying to help her figure out what to eat" Gabriel said. "Marisa this is my best friend Sergio, Sergio; Marisa."
Sergio was so cute! I loved his style! Sergio gave me this look and grabbed my hand, "It's very nice to meet you Marisa" he said smiling at me.
I smiled back at him, "It's nice to meet you too!" Sergio let go of my hand and walked back to his table. Eventually we came to an conclusion and got my sister her favorite, chicken and fries. Who doesn't like fries?!
As the day started to end, school was already over and me and my sister were out at this local store out here checking it out.
Mariana seemed happy, mostly because she found herself standing in front of a clothes rack.
"This would look so cute on you, Marisa!" she said
I looked a tthe top she had in her hand, my eyes nearly cried bloody tears. "EW ANA! THAT'S SO UGLY PUT THAT DOWN!" I said laughing.
"I'm just kidding! jeez !" Mariana said laughing with me
"I'm gonna go check out the rest of the store." I said
Ana smiled at me and shook her head, "Go ahead. You know where to find me."
I walked out the clothes department and looked around, the store was small but really cute. Everything here was so different from where we used to stay.
I walked into this little area of the store and saw Gabriel sitting down on this bench, I stopped in my tracks. "Gabriel?!" I said
"Marisa?!" he asked back mocking me.
I put my hand on my hip and gave him a look, "So what? You're stalking me now?" I asked joking with him.
"He joked right back, "You know i can't help myself Marisa!" as we both laughed.
I walked over to one of the shelves. "so what are you doing here?" I asked him.
I looked at him and smirked , "YOU, have a job?!" I asked joking with him again.
"YES MARISA I HAVE A JOB!" he said laughing at me. He stood up and walked over to me standing right beside me. "The real question is, what are YOU doing here?"
"Just checking the place out that's all. What's this?" I asked him.
That is the first horse to ever win the Horse Derby. His name was Felix. He was a very well known horse" he said.
"Oh yeah?" I asked "what happened to him"
"He got sick and passed away..." Gabriel said to me as he explained to me about Felix.
"Hey! You're from school right?"
Me and Gabriel both turned around to see Mariana standing right behind us. To be honest, I kinda forgot I told her I'll be right back.
"You must be Mariana" Gabriel said smiling
"that would be me" she said with a smile nodding her head.
"I'm Gabriel, nice to meet you." He said shaking her hand.
"It's nice to meet you too Gabriel!" she said smiling. She looked right at me, "Whenever you're done chatting I'll be out in front ready to leave. It was nice meeting you again Gabriel." she said as she walked away.
"OW!! MIND WATCHING WHERE YOU'RE GOING NEXT TIME?!"

"You dumb klutz !
"I should get going. My sister is waiting for me. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Yeah , Yeah of course! Wait! Here..." Gabriel said pulling out his phone. "Put your number in?"
I grabbed his phone and smiled and put my number in his phone. "Call me sometime." I said as I walked out the store.
I finally got to the car and Mariana seemed upset, "What's the matter??" I asked her.
"What took you so long?! she snapped at me as she drove away...
