Twinsetters Vol.1: The Intro

The twins of High-range Mountain, Mariana and Marisa Barnes moved to a whole new city, leaving everything behind them in the past. Although some things are quite hard to let go. The untold secrets haunt them till this day making it impossible to fit in and make it feel like home in the city of Riverside Oaks. 

On a Sunday morning at exactly 8:31 a.m Mariana Barney sat there staring into space with the look of fear in her eyes, as her twin sister Marisa watched her slowly break down in silence.

"Mariana it was for the best... you have to let that go" she said to her sister

"how could you just expect someone to let something like that go? he was the first guy i ever loved!"

"Yeah! and that exactly why we had to move to this city! You took him leaving you really hard Ana.. you deserved better anyways.."

"Better? how would you know what was better for me? It wasn't anybody's business but mine!" Mariana said kinda getting upset.

"Ana calm down I'm not trying to attack you or anything like that.. i just wanna be there for you as your sister its my job." 

The room got quiet for about 5 seconds , as Mariana turned to look at her sister,

"I'm sorry...I'm just scared that's all." she said walking over to the couch."

"what are you scared of Ana???" she asked her.

"Does it even matter? Honestly. what's done is done. Tomorrow we're going to be in a brand new school with brand new faces, brand new rules, brand new relationships. It's not like i can freeze time and avoid this day from happening, Marisa."

"Exactly! So why not make the best of it?"

"........"

"Ana come on ugh!... You know ... we still have to go get our natural black hair back and get our hair styled for tomorrow."

Mariana snapped out of her trance and made a smirk

"I think I might just get my tips dyed again instead of getting it fully back to black. A brand new look would be amazing."

"Do you wanna go shopping for clothes afterwards?"

"You already know! Mariana said slightly letting go of her frown."

If it was one thing the twins loved doing together it was shopping. Especially for Mariana. Mariana was always the girlish twin. Shes' very dramatic at times yet charming towards others. She's very loving and hopeless romantic I guess you could call that irresistible.

But being irresistible came with double! The complete opposite of Ana! 

Marisa was more of the tomboy version of Mariana. unlike Ana, Marisa inst the shy type. She's louder, and outgoing. Very friendly and sporty

Mariana let out a slight sigh staring into the mirror she walked out the bathroom and went back into her bedroom. She slowly walked into her sisters room seeing that she was asleep. She called out to her,

"Marisa? Are you awake?" she asked.

"I am now.." she said snickering, "whats the matter?"

"I'm kinda nervous for tomorrow..."

"What if we don't fit in with the others?" Mariana asked

Marisa sat up on her bed and smiled at her,

"I'd be surprised if we did fit in. we're already a month late, they already made friends"

"You have a point..." she said and let out a sigh.

She got up and walked to a window thinking. Thinking about everything she had been through. All the misery that was caused she was trying so hard to let it go but the thought controlled her mind every chance it could.

Marisa walked up behind her,

"We're twins Ana! Whatever happens we'll go through it together. so don't even worry. Everything will be alright. let's just get through the night okay?"

"Thanks Marisa, You're the best sister anybody could've asked for" she said and gave her a hug. She let Marisa get back to her sleep and walked back to her room and climbed into bed and thought to herself, 

"I'm looking forward to tomorrow !" . . .
